Erica Neradt
I was born and grew up in the suburbs of Chicago in Illinois. At a young age I became extremely interested in cartoon charactering and drawing. My passion for art grew from becoming extremely influenced by my high school art teacher. She allowed me to take all the materials I needed or wanted to create art during my lunch period, with all the curriculum requirements high school has art, at times, art had not fit into my schedule. I have been featured in and awarded at the Harper Community College Exhibition as well as High School showings. I have also received the high school district 214 Award for excellence in fine art. Even though this world is new to me, being a student studying at an art school in Baltimore, I feel that the new direction that my art is beginning to take me is positive.
